1. Controller and contact details

The data controller is Giacomo Cosentino, owner of the sole proprietorship G-SYS di Cosentino Giacomo, Via Nuova, 164 — 28883 Gravellona Toce (VB), Italy, VAT no. 02794650032. For questions or requests about personal data, email info@g-sys.it.

2. Email inquiries

When you email us, you provide your email address, any identifying and business details, and the contents of your message and attachments. We use these data to respond, assess your request and manage any subsequent professional relationship. Please send only information necessary for your request.

For quotes or service requests, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, or performing the contract (Article 6(1)(b), GDPR). For correspondence with business representatives, where applicable, processing is based on the legitimate interest in managing professional communications (Article 6(1)(f)). Mandatory legal requirements are based on Article 6(1)(c).

Providing data is optional, but we cannot respond without contact details and the information needed to handle your request. Email links open your email application; the website has no inquiry form.

3. Browsing data and cookies

The reviewed website files contain no traffic analysis tools, advertising, application cookies or browser storage. Images, system fonts and animations do not require external tracking services.

The hosting service may process technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested resource and request outcome to deliver and protect the service. Aruba’s actual log configuration and retention periods still need verification. The absence of tracking in the website files does not verify cookies that might be added by the hosting platform.

If only technical tools are used, a consent banner is not required. Before introducing non-essential tools, the information and consent arrangements must be reviewed and updated. Cookie information from the Italian Data Protection Authority.

The Aruba Statistics service, based on server logs, has been purchased for the domain. The provider’s guide describes reports covering up to the last 365 days; the actual configuration, anonymization and retention of underlying logs still need verification. The reporting period does not establish log retention.

4. Providers and recipients

The controller has identified Aruba as the provider of domain, hosting and email services for the website. Technical providers may process data to deliver the services entrusted to them, and authorities may receive data where required by law. The applicable contract, data protection roles and any other providers actually involved still need verification.

Processing locations, any transfers outside the European Economic Area and the corresponding safeguards must be established to complete this notice. Purchasing an Italian domain does not by itself rule out such transfers.

5. Retention and backups

Correspondence is archived in the mailbox and in local copies. Data are retained for as long as needed to handle the request and any professional relationship. When no longer needed, they are deleted, except for documents that must be kept to meet legal obligations or for specific disputes. Retention therefore depends on the nature of the communication, the status of the request or relationship, and applicable obligations.

Daily local backups are made for recovery after failure or data loss, with three versions retained. Data deleted from current archives may remain in earlier backups until those copies rotate out. Three versions do not guarantee deletion within 72 hours: rotation depends on successful backup execution.

The configuration and retention periods of logs and any copies managed by Aruba remain under review.

6. Language selection

The Italiano and English links open separate versions of the pages. Your choice is not saved in cookies or browser storage. The website’s application files contain no profiling or automated decision-making.

7. Your rights

Where the GDPR provides, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@g-sys.it. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
